Un singur dans. O mie de maini. Doar 21 de dansatoare de origine chineza, uimitoare prin gratia si desavarsirea pe care o aduc miscarii. Sunt dansatoare care nu pot sa auda muzica in ale carei ritmuri se lasa cuprinse. Sunt dansatoare care nu pot sa isi dezlipeasca buzele pentru a-si exprima. Fetele sunt surdo-mute si fac parte din Trupa Chinezeasca de Arta pentru persoanele cu dizabilitati. Ele isi exprima insa bucuria de a trai prin dans.

Nu este coregrafia uimitoare? Nu este executia desavarsita? Uimitoare? Daca nu ai sti, ai realiza ca fetele nu aud muzica?... Dansatoarele realizeaza pe scena mai mult decat un dans. Realizeaza un spectacol. Spectacolul se face remarcat prin precizia si corectitudinea executiei, dar si prin complexitatea sa. Antrenorii sunt amplasati in cele patru colturi ale scenei, iar fetele le urmeaza indicatiile. Dansul se bazeaza pe efect si iluzie vizuala. Nu ai impresia de fapt ca in fata ochilor tai se afla o singura persoana care isi misca cele 1000 de maini?

Denumirea dansului Guan Yin

Denumirea dansului Guan Yin vine de la numele unei zeite budiste, Guan Yin (Guan Shi Yin), zeita ce simbolizeaza iubirea. Guan Yin este venerata in Orient pentru compasiunea, indurarea si bunatatea pe care le-a aratat fata de oameni. Figura feminina a zeitei este similara Fecioarei Maria sau zeitei Tara (zeita tibetana). Are un suflet bun si milos, raspunzand celor care ii solicita ajutorul sau se afla intr-o situatie dificila. Guan Yin este foarte aproape de sufletul celor aflati in suferinta si nevoi.

Poate insa ca nimic nu exprima mai bine personalitatea acestei zeite decat numele sau intreg: Guan Shi Yin. Guan inseamna “a privi”, Shi inseamna “lume”, iar “Yin” inseamna sunete, sunetele celor care sufera. Prin urmare, rolul principal al acestei zeite este acela de a veghea asupra celor care sufera. Guan Yin este reprezentata uneori cu o mie de brate sau ochi, gata sa ajute pe cat mai multi si sa intinda o mana de ajutor celui care are nevoie.
